CookedCV
AI-POWERED CAREER ROAST

Are you cooked?

Upload your CV and let the AI roast it without mercy. Then Glow Up and walk out professional.

Upload your CV and let the AI read it the way a recruiter does. First it hands you a CV character — that's the fun part. The real work is underneath: it lists your weak spots one by one, so you can finally see why you keep getting filtered out.

Three steps

How CookedCV works

01

Upload your CV

Drag and drop your PDF. No signup, no email. Your file is never stored on our servers — it is deleted the moment the analysis finishes.

02

Take the honest verdict

The AI reads your CV the way a recruiter does. It calls out the clichés, the claims nothing measures, and the keywords you left out.

03

Fix it and download

Pick one of 14 templates in the editor, rewrite bullets into impact statements in one tap, and export an ATS-friendly PDF.

A real example

What changes in one line?

To a recruiter, the difference is never the adjectives — it's the evidence. Same job, same numbers, two ways of writing it:

Draft

Was responsible for improving reporting processes and supporting the team where needed. The weekly report for our 12-person team was prepared by hand and took about 6 hours.

What lands on your CV

Automated the weekly report for a 12-person team, removing 6 hours of manual work every week.

  • The verb changed. "was responsible for" never says what you did; "automated" says it in one word.

  • The numbers came from the draft. 12 and 6 were already there — buried in the second sentence, now up front. Nothing was invented.

  • Two lines became one. The recruiter sees how many people, how many hours and what was gained in the first line.

No new number was added here — both were in the draft. Yours works the same way: we will not invent a number you don't have.

Frequently asked questions

Is it really completely free?

Yes. No signup, no card, no trial period. The analysis, the editor, every template and the PDF export are all free.

Do you keep my CV?

No — we have no database. The PDF you upload is processed for the analysis and deleted from the server the moment it finishes. Your CV text is sent to OpenAI to produce the analysis; OpenAI states that data submitted through the API is not used to train its models. Anything you edit in the editor stays in your own browser and is never sent to us.

What is an ATS and why does it matter?

An ATS (Applicant Tracking System) is the software companies use to scan and filter applications automatically. If your CV can't get through it, no human ever sees it. The analysis measures how readable your CV is to those systems.

Which file formats can I upload?

PDF only for now, up to 8 MB. Export your Word file as a PDF and upload that.

My CV is in English — does it still work?

Yes. The AI detects the language of your CV and writes the improved text in that same language.

How many times can I use it?

There's no practical limit. There is a short rate limit to prevent abuse, so firing off many requests back to back means waiting a little.

So why is it free?

Because charging someone for the privilege of finding work is a strange thing to do. CookedCV started as a side project and it stays one: no paywall, no card, no “premium” lock.

All we ask is that you tell a friend if it actually helped.
